Friday's Feast--Again

Friday's Feast

I was late to dinner!

Appetizer
What are you proud of?

I can drive a stick shift.

Soup
What is the best thing you’ve ever won as a prize?

The grand prize in a wedding fashion show thingy. It was a combination of a bunch of prizes, like paying for tuxes, etc. The only big thing I've ever won besides my husband's heart.

Salad
Name something you do that is a waste of time.

Straightening up the family room.

Main Course
In what year of your life did you change the most?

1984. My boyfriend (now husband) and I broke up, and it was the year I decided to spend the rest of my life following Jesus. He is the only one who will never break your heart. No one else deserves to be on that pedestal. No one.

Dessert

Where is a place you consider to be very tranquil?

Anywhere under the big blue sky.

Hey...better late than never!! I love the story of your breakup and giving your heart to Jesus...I know that makes a world of difference.

I had fun with these questions. I have a follow-up post on it.

Have a GREAT day!!

Being able to drive a stick shift is something to be proud of. Great advice on the Main Course. Only if some of the students I work with would learn that.

Great feast, especially the main course. So true -- it's something I've had to relearn the last year and a half since my precious pastor died.

I love how when you gave your heart fully to Jesus, you still ended up having your hubby's heart too!

Hey, I won something at a wedding thing too! Fun!

Isn't it awesome how God puts the love of our life in our life...but if we worship him more than Him... He will remind us that there is only One real love....
He gave you the love of your life...
and once you came to put Jesus first, He gave you back your (soon to be)husband...
sounds like a Cindarella story...
something out of Isaiah... from ashes to Beauty...
WOW...
thanks for sharing
Connie

I'm a Hoosier, you're a Hoosier, nobody else wants to be a Hoosier too.

That was my rejected entry for the Indiana Tourism Board ad campaign. I'm from Elkhart, proud to call themselves 'the city next to that other city that is home to Notre Dame!'

So, like, nice to meet you. I love Glenn Beck too. And sunsets. And puppies. And clearance sales down at the Dolly Madison bakery.

Hey, Elastic. Nice to meet you formally. You can think of me as "Vel Crow," which is really funny if i could share my full name. Trust me; it's funny. Glenn Beck rocks because he told the truth about Terri Schiavo, and I he has been my hero ever since. I know Elkhart. Used to know some people who moved there from here. Have you heard Muncie's motto? It's "Muncie--we're trying!" That says it all. Thanks for stopping by!
