What Superman Has that You Don't

Forget milk.Yeah, that's right. He's got the power of Sanjaya, a mysterious, trance-like hold on the American public, and soon the world. The only thing that can stop Sanjaya now is a bad haircut from Fast Clips for $4.95.

Well, I'm ready to leave my house in about 5 minutes, and it is storming and HAILING. We are flying to Chicao then Tulsa. Of course, we will be in a storm pattern the whole way, probably. Pray for me, for us!

I was stunned Sanjaya was not voted off last night. Not even in the bottom two. Nothing against the kid but really I feel for the one's who really are doing a way better job at singing than he is and then get voted off. This happened in Canadian Idol a couple seasons back and you could tell the judges were getting really irritated by it, but the girl had the sentimental support of her whole eastern community and she made to final 4, I believe, before she was out. It got very frustrating to watch the kids who could really sing & perfrom stepping out before one who couldn't so much.

Yikes... I have no idea who, or what, Sanjaya is! I am off to the internet to find out.

May the Lord watch over and keep you as you travel. \o

Just catching up...I'm so far behind!

OK...I'm so out of the media loop, I have no idea, Linda...I scrolled down to the post below so I'm guessing he's an American Idol contestant, right? Don't laugh at me...my 80 yr old mom and 78 yr old aunt both watch American Idol, as does 98% of the population but I have yet to jump on the band wagon!

I wanted to say how much I loved the post from Sunday on Choral concerts...so funny! I have a feeling I may be in on some of these in the near future!

And what a sweet Spring bunny book...I never read that one when I was little but I'll have to look for it since my youngest is still the right age. So happy Spring is here! :)

Have a safe trip!

Praying for your flight...although now I am sure it's finished.

I was amazed at the whole Sanjaya thing.

I read on someone's blog yesterday that it is the young teen girls with unlimited text messaging coupled with the votefortheworst.com that have propelled Sanjaya up in the rankings. Apparantly the phone voting is sometimes hard to get through, but text messaging gets through every time and with unlimited, they can keep sending over and over. Sigh. It's so disappointing.
