Hair, Not Eggs

It just occurred to me that all over the world people are dyeing Easter eggs this weekend. Not me. I'm dyeing my roots.

I wish I could do my own roots, but I have to leave that to the pro's. (I have tried in the past. Scary.)

My hair is blonde but as I have gotten older, it has gotten a little darker.. I think my kids did it to me... ;-)... soooooo one day, I ventured out with one of those crazy kits...voluptous sun kissed brazen --don't you know where I am going?? something that I was about 30 years ago!!

anyway-- I was sitting on the porch with my hair all plastered down.. my son was three houses down,, but that just didn't matter because he yells out, "Mom, what is wrong with your hair" so all the neighbors look my way and realize what I am doing...oh yes, I heard the giggles...

I have gone back to dying easter eggs...

so what if my hair looks a desert lizard blonde
