I'd Like Some Global Warming to Go, Please

This is the view outside my office window. Sigh. Why are we having snow in mid-April? I believe it's because we are wearing skirts that used to be sold as paper coffee filters and blouses that used to be tennis wristbands. So God is saying, "I've had it, people. Get some clothes on. Especially you, Haley Scarnato."

I am sorry that you are getting snow. We had it Wed. & Thurs. and don't want it back. Today the sun was shining! I got in my hot tub and finished reading a book!

Yikes, Cold but your post is once again hysterical. I liked Haley. Who do you think the next is to go?

You're not alone girl. I woke up to a blanket of white yesterday. Not too impressed. And Mr. Weatherman is calling for lots of snow on Sunday!! Yuck!

Okay, so I live in Ontario. But the fact that we have snow year round is really a myth!! No igloos around here. Promise.

I'm sure that God wants me to move to the sunny south. I don't want my summer colour to be completely from the tanning salon.

Don't get my husband going on Global Warming ...."Ya, right," he'll say..."Is that why we are all Freezing!!"

I'm also from Ontario Canada like my friend Rhonda with the above comment. She and her husband are part of our pastoral staff.

I noticed that you work in a Youth Ministry. My husband and I were youth pastors for over 11 years...we LOVED it. Over twelve years ago we planted a church with 40 - 50 people including children...we were mostly young families. Within our first year of running Rhonda and her husband attended our services and came to know the Lord.....and now they are part of our staff. It's a very neat story with lots of tear and laughter. In the early days they were in our home group so we personally mentored them. Ministry is sooo rewarding - at least most days! lol

Anyhow, just dropped in to say Hi as I saw your comment on Rhonda's recipe. By the way she is an even better baker so check out her Choc Cake - yum!

Blessings from Canada

That looked like here last week for two days and 2 nights. I was windy like crazy here today. The snow is finally all melted. How ya feeling?

Melanie--no need to call Al. He invented snow. And minivans.

Lynn wants to know who we think will exit stage left next. Any takers? I'll have to think about it.

Thanks to you all who have shared concern about my earache. I must confess, the attention is a little spoiling to me! I'm working on something today. The pain comes and goes, and that's why I keep postponing the doc visit.

Hi Linda,
Thanks for stopping by my place...it's good to meet you!

I LOVE this post. Ain't it the truth? I am TIRED of seeing tattoos right above a butt crack. Sigh. It's just too much visible information...too much skin!

I live in Florida, land of perpetual heat, but I spoke with a friend in Minnesota yesterday, where it is STILL snowing. No doubt it must be that darn global warming.

You're too funny, and I'm delighted to have found a new blog to visit.

Hi Linda

Now, don't you let that earache go without a doctor visit.

You must check out my post on Global Warming - I think you'll like it. It's in the March archives.

Mark and I went down to Church On The Move in Tulsa 6 years ago. Our church sent us down to 'Spend A Week' at Dry Gulch. It was an amazing week. I don't think that they offer it anymore. But what a place!!

OK...Linda.
First things first: Go. See. Doctor. Don't let those things go!
(I know...I sound pretty bossy, and we've only a few virtual cups of coffee together!) ;)

Secondly, love the title of this post!

And thirdly: For some reason, I missed your post randomizing me. I saw others respond on their posts, and yet, somehow I missed this until I scrolled down!
I'll be doing this in the coming week! (Better late than never!) :)

We've been getting lots of rain and chilly weather ourselves this past week. Hope the globe sufficiently warms up soon!

For those concerned about global warming, I have evidence of what is causing it:-) Look at Junk in the Trunk...

Linda, I know what you're saying...when my arthritis flares, I swear I'm going to the doc, but when it calms itself down...well, maybe I just overreacted:=)...

And we're having **singing** Stormy Weather in NO. California as well...no snow..but LOTS of rain and LOTS and LOTS of wind...

**Cannonballin' into Nise's hottub!!**

Amen to that!
