Loser? Not in the Right Sense

I've been so caught up in my son's graduation that I haven't posted my May Day Challenge results. Here's the "shocking results show" (sorry--too much Bachelor and American Idol): Status Quo. No gain/No loss. Which is probably a success considering the stress I've been under. I walked an hour today in spite of the mangled toe I gave myself at the open house. While I was walking, a car swerved to pretend to hit me. I got mad at him and raised my hands as if to say, "What was that? You think that's funny?!" in a mean way. That was right in the middle of listening to my praise music and feeling quite holy.

You go girl! Walking despite the mangled toe? Wow, I am impressed.

My Dad did that once to my father-in-law who put his fist up in the air. lol

I agree, with all you've had going on, maintaining your weight was a success. I still need to get going on some type of exercise.

Wow, I'd definitely be using that toe for an excuse.

I hate it when cars do that. What is funny about that? I had a kid on a bike do that in front of my car except that the silly child wiped out. Right in front of my car. I almost had a heart attack. After I realized he was okay I could've wrung his neck. Which was totally un-Christ-like. He definitely scared the living daylights out of me.

Count status quo a BIG success. I'd be ten pounds heavier with all you've had going on!

Thanks for swinging by earlier; my thesis? It was an exploration of Oliver O'Donovan's (an Anglican theologian) treatment of Israel in his magnum opus on political theology, The Desire of the Nations.

A real laugh a minute, let me tell you. :)

Sorry, just needed to answer about synesthesia. :) I'm not sure about whether it works with inanimate objects and gender. Good question! I tend to think of it pertaining to more abstract stuff - music, letters and numbers, etc. But, who knows? Maybe! I suspect you've got a story to tell, yes? ;)

Blessings on your busy home!

laura, I've ascribed those characteristics to inantimate objects since early childhood. I just have a "feeling." when I first started to learn French, I was delighted that someone thought of things as masculine/fem., too! And I can't explain the other weirdnesses.

Although...that picture of you in the Sanjaya shirt looks like my goal weight! You're hot! And...I say that in the most appropriate, holy way.
