Hearken Unto Me (a.k.a. The Future You)

Did I mention my son's book fees for this semester? $500.00. Did I mention my daughter's book fees for only TWO of her books for this semester? $200.00. Parking passes, meal plans ... education is truly becoming priceless. Even if you have a little bitty child, hearken unto this voice from your future: Save some money.

Seriously this is one of my biggest regrets, that we did not plan for this. With one in grade 12 this year, I am seriously fighting fear from overcoming whenever I think about what's going to happen next year.

Yikes.
You know, I always said before my kids were ever born that if they wanted to go to college, they'd have to work their way through...but honestly, now that I have them, I'm changing heart. Yet, it may come to that anyway! It's unbelievable how much college costs!

It's amazing that it's come to this. And we wonder why people find themselves more in debt than ever. Thanks for the advice--AND the reality check!

Stop... you're scaring me...

I (should) pray at almost every week that God would open up His storehouses for when my turns come...

God bless, and have a wonderful weekend... \o

Hello! I saw you on my brother's blog (BliggityBlaggityBlog) and saw that you are from Granger! I'm reading Simply Strategic Growth, and it is incredible!! Someday I hope to visit Granger. Anyway, I'm loving the book and hoping and praying that somehow, someday my church will try even just one idea from that book! Have a fabulous day!
