Saving Money with Discount/Promo Codes
More busy moms are buying on line than ever before. Here's a tip that will save you money as you begin to purchase Christmas gifts, maybe even enough to cover the cost of shipping--wouldn't that be sweet?
When you're filling in on-line order blanks, you may notice that there is a spot for you to enter a discount or promo code. At that point, if you're like me, your brain scrambles as you flip your catalog over and over trying to find the sacred code, but it's not there. Or maybe you've just now found the item on line and there is no code on the site.
Well.
Try going to sites such as retailmenot.com to search by category or store for your object because they list current promotional codes which you may then fill in for the discount. Yes, it's on the up-and-up--it's all legit. And there are thousands upon thousands of retailers listed, yes, even your favorites.Woo to the Hoo!
In addition, you may try these sites:

keycode.com (This one has a subscription option.)
rather-be-shopping.com (This one has daily updates.)

Check out Restaurant.com. Sign up for their email and receive discounts off the already discounted prices. Great way to eat out higher end restaurants.
One caveat: sites like these are notorious for loading up your computer with junk like spyware and other mischief.
