The Gathering Photos (Gingerbread)

*If you are visiting here from the Star Press column or you have tried to click on the photos below for a better look and were not successful, please see the post below this, where I believe clicking on individual pics will work.*

It was a lovely evening! Please enjoy the slides. I think you can click on any picture to see individually and larger. I included some other tables because if you're like me, you just enjoy pretty things, and maybe you'll find an idea or two for decorating your table.

Oh, you've been fibbing; you can cook! That is a perfect gingerbread house. And the table setting! Even huge ribbons on each chair! And the gingerman cookies! Oh, it's just all too perfect! I wanna be there.

BTW: when a pictured is clicked, it carries us away to a far off land.

Gorgeous! Well done Linda. If only people needed gingerbread houses year round you could totally give up your day job :-)

Wow, Linda! That's beautiful. I think you've been sandbagging us all along about your culinary skills. I know gingerbread houses aren't really a major food group, but that takes some serious talent! Love ya!

Tres cool! I love it. We did something like this at our church last year. I was happy to be a guest rather than a hostess; I am creative & artsy, but not a decorator & not the hostess type.

Wow! I am so impressed! That house is so beautiful and the tablescape is so fun! I don't think I would have the heart to bite the head off one of those adorable gingerbread men!

I am going to a Christmas Tea today and will take pictures and post, but I bet there won't be any gingerbread there! Awesome work.

And thanks for the bonus pic of your tree at home...very pretty!

Beautiful!!

Everytime I TRY to make cookies and decorate them the icing I use never hardens, even the icing that says it will, would you post your recipe for your icing that you used on your cookies??

I am inspired!

OK. I tried to come up with a phrase cooler than "O my gosh!" when I saw your gingerbread church, but I'm not cool. I am, however, over-the-top impressed Girlfriend! The many talents of Lidna... is there no end?
