Progress at the Gym! I Have a Muscle!

Alternate title: "Welcome to the Gun Show," which I learned from my very buff 20 year-old son. Just finished a workout and came home to find that I do indeed have a bicep. However, what is sad is that when I relax, the bump you see appears to drop to the bottom or triceps area, which is quite disturbing when I lower my arm and my bump appears to be perched on top of the back of my elbow. Ugh--you can always tell a woman's age by that triceps area.

Still mulling over getting a tatt:

I'm on my way!

My big kids used to tell me to "do that trick you do" with my triceps.. haha It was the chicken flap flap they called it.. Needless to say it was not a trick I had practiced on. ha The older I get the more that darn trick jumps up and gets me.. You always make me laugh..

Let me know if you find something that works on the tricept area.

Love the muscle. The uber-tan bodybuilder in the orange string bikini? Not so much. :)

If you're going to have pictures like that last one, I'm going to have to stop coming here during my breakfast. Blech.

So when are you gonna arm wrestle your son?!

My--you shouldn't have scared the personal trainer in the last photo with that beastly bicep of yours!

I see along with contemplating a tat you also got your belly button pierced. I'll bet your kids don't recognize their mom. LOL.

Great job, Linda! Oh, and that pic?? You should warn a mother who happens to be scrolling through blogs with her two young girls. Nightmares. LOL...

Oh PLEASE don't go so far as to look like that wrestler chick. YUCK.

You crack me up with the whole "a muscle" thing. Girlie - - - you have more than 300 muscles, what shape they're in is entirely another matter.

:-)

That is a seriously disturbing photo...the last one is pretty bad, too.

Just kidding!

You go, girl!

This is cracking me up, because I have a post saved in my "draft" pile that has a picture of the same part of my arm in flexed position. My post is about my lack of muscle....and is now going to be deleted :) I just cannot beat you to the punch and cannot believe the # of times I've been on your wavelength with posting ideas. It really is something out of the Twilight Zone- the phenomenon.

Hey, the coffee tatoo for sure, yeah! Ha!

I also am so sick of my flabby upper arm skin that shakes when I point at something. Ick!!

That last photo -- ewwwww!

Good work on the muscle, even if it does shift around when not "in gear". LOL

I laughed so hard at that last pic I snorted Dr Pepper up my nose! Where do you find such images? :)

OH MY!! That last pic! Let's just go with little guns for right now, ok?!!

Yay on the bicep! Oh, are you doing triceps work? (okay, I used to be a personal trainer, -- I loved doing that and can't quite let it go!)

that last photo is scary ...good lawdy be!

I am sad to say that I am 29, and your bicep is SO much better than mine.

However, that last photo made up for all of my sadness and made it disappear almost entirely. Thanks for that surprise. I needed it. :)

Too funny! I saw that last picture last night when I was searching google for some funny face pictures! I'll take being a fattie over THAT body anyday! Have a great weekend!

Whoa... that was some gunshow! Much better than mine... I have an upside-down gun show ;-)

Love the look of that lady in the pic... she reminds me of Cheri OTerri(sp) from SNL on 'roids!

Have a great weekend :-D

Welcome to the Gun Show as my son's friends say! Your Guns are looking good, it's better than mush and droop. Hey the way I look at it even a small gun is better than no gun. :)

Forgive me but did I give you permission to use my photo here?! ;-)

Well that's almost me, minus the tan. And the muscles. And the belly button ring. And the goofy smile.

Oh good Lord woman... I have never drank (drunk) enough coffee to look at that last picture as if it were any semblance of NORMAL!!?

And I have been teasing Mr. Daddy to no end recently... he'd never heard "Welcome to the Gun Show" - until I taught our 3-year old to make a muscle and shout it at the top of his lungs.

It still hasn't gotten old. See, it's always cool to show off your biceps chica :)
