In the Meme Time

The Random Dozen is growing and is now beyond my control like when your kids goes off to school and you hope and pray he behaves. You started him out right, but who knows what he does when his ear is beyond the reach of your policing mom-hand.

Actually, it's not so much the meme that is mischievous as it is the people. In fact, some would like the Random Dozen to become The Dirty Dozen, but that's not my intention.

Anyway.

We hit 80 participants this week. That is officially more than I can handle regarding reading and commenting.

It's a problem, but it's a good one, I think.

Anyway: suggestion for when we hit 100 participants: Have a drawing from my comments to give the winner the next week's creative and hosting beast of a job privilege. *Note* It will probably boost your traffic.

In sum: I get by with a little help from my friends. :)

Thanks for playing!

I love this Meme. I am sorry there are some out there who don't want play nicely. I would love to enter a drawing to do a post sometime in the future. I am glad to help!

I think that's a great idea!

Wow!! Congrats--and I didn't even have time to do the dozen this week. :(

I love the idea...I'd love to be on the asking end.

And about that other small item you mentioned. I just plug my ears and sing lalala.

Have a great weekend!

You have created a magnificent meme. It's a shame that the fringe element has to diminish it.

Your suggestion for guest questions is a good one. Although you've set the bar awfully high for any of us who might write questions in the future!

So many things would be better if everyone would just play nice. You do a great job!

I love participating in this meme a lot and I thank you for hosting it. You're really good at it. I think you have a really good idea about how to work it as it keeps growing.

I hope folks are behaving!

Eighty! That's a lot of vetting. Now you know how the White House feels. wink

Sounds like a fun idea. I don't think any of us expects you to leave us a comment every week. I try to comment on most of them of interest. But by evening I don't get back to the later ones. When it reaches 100 or more, maybe you could just randomly comment on say twenty of us or a random dozen of participants each week. Sorry couldn't help myself.

I love doing this each week. Too bad there is bad form out there. Instead of plugging my ears tho, their words come out more like the sound of Charlie Brown's teacher, "whaw, whaw, whaw, whaw, whaw." ahahahaha If I can figure out the Mr. Linky thingy, you can count me in too. But my preference would be to supply you with the questions. Have a great weekend. Blessings, SusanD

Please don´t stop! You do such a good job and I think if someone else is asking, it will be completely different. But I think it´s worth a try. I´m always up for something new. :)

This is one of the more fun memes. I look forward to it each week. I would be glad to help out if someone could teach me how to do all that linking up stuff.

It sounds like a great idea, Linda. I hope it works out well without any difficulties! I'm willing to take my turn!
I do so appreciate you doing this meme for all of us to participate in and I don't expect you to visit my blog every week. You do have a life! :-)

I just started a few weeks ago.
I wouldn't have a clue how to handle that. I hope you keep doing it.

I used to do a random question meme on Thursdays. I had to delete more and more questions that I felt were inappropriate so I stopped doing it.

I've seen some of the participants show up here and I've been praying that they'd get bored when they didn't find "exciting" questions. I'm still praying.

THANKS! for keeping it clean.

I know I haven't been around terribly long, but if you ever need a break... I'd be willing to help.

God bless you!

Oh Lid. Stooping this low...Paying for participants, oh the shame of it all. LOL Sorry I haven't been playing along but obviously you haven't missed me. :(

I just took over the Thankful Thursday Meme so that is taking a lot of my time.

Sorry that people are being bad with answers. You should ask people not to link up if it's not clean. It's your game. You make the rules.

As for all the players. MY opinion (lol) is that you don't have to get around to everyones. I loved the comment that you should just pick a random dozen and comment on those dozen. haha

Above all, this should be fun for you too! It's your blog. If your not having fun then there's no point!

Thanks for all the work you have put into it.

Lidna, I love your questions and can't imagine the low of someone making it into something awful for you.
I confess that I only read a few others' answers (plus yours, of course, since you wrote the questions) because I just don't have the time to read all of them. I certainly don't expect you to get around to all of us -- that would be a full-time job!
