Post Mortem, Jen and Me

Hey! It's January 2nd, and I've already messed up my first new year's plan! Woo for me!

A couple of years ago, I read through the Bible in one year, and I planned to do it again starting yesterday.

However, since I was still battling the UTI and worst headache of the whole year of 2010, I spent the entire day in bed watching a Jennifer Aniston movie marathon on Lifetime.

Five hours, at least. Jen and I are now bffs.

Late last night (midnight), I finally started feeling better and so I rose and went to the family room only to find Katie curled up with a blanket around her watching Friends. I could not escape Jen yesterday.

Katie and I are collecting awful (so awful that they're good) titles of Lifetime movies. The winner so far?

Mother, May I Sleep with Danger.

Thanks for the get well wishes and advice. Next item on new shopping list: cranberry pills. Bloggers are amazing.

Have a great Saturday!

PS: What kind of human female looks this good with wet hair and a trench coat? I don't think she's human. Just sayin'.

Glad you're feeling better. I messed up yesterday too. I didn't start my new Bible study or take my walk. Oh well, I believe each day is a new day and a new chance to start over. So let's see what today will bring.

Don't be too hard on yourself...rest and get well. I wrote a post on my own blog today about feeling let down with resolutions on what is only the second day of the new year and my thought is this...there are still 364 days in this year...lots of time to catch up once you're feeling like yourself again.

One of my favorite Lifetime titles is Baby Monitor: Sound of Fear! It was actually a pretty good movie but the name cracked me up.

I think I'd look decent had I a hairdresser and makeup stylist following 2 feet behind me 24/7 too. Maybe. Ok probably not as good as her, but it sure wouldn't hurt. ;v)

She is my favorite too. She has gone so far and always looks very good. And no she can't be human. But whatever planet she is from< i would like to visit.

You are too cute and I agree... does JA ever look bad?

Glad to read you're feeling better. Hope you can find those cranberry pills and they keep the UTI's away.

I'm a couple days late with the Bible in a Year reading myself. Finally got it all set up tonight. Happy Reading!

"My Stepson, My Lover"
"Mother Trucker"

I must admit that there is something about a cold rainy yucky day, especially if I have a cold, that makes me want to curl up on the sofa, in front of the fireplace, and watch Lifetime movies.

P.S. Yeah, I've seen "Mother May I Sleep With Danger" haha. Tori Spelling REALLY annoys me.

You're right about those Lifetime movie titles. The worst part is I find myself watching them sometimes.

How can you be recovering from a UTI and migraine and manage to be so doggone funny? I hope you are feeling better soon. About 10.5 years ago my life was filled with horrible UTI's I had 11 in 1 year alone...so I sympathize. I also cracked up at the part about bad LifeTime move titles...While BSG was on, my husband and I were collecting bad movie titles from the ScyFy channel...our favorites were those titles that you knew really stumped the writers so they just went basic like "RatBoy" or "Large Monster with Boils"

Jennifer is fascinating isn't she? Always cute no matter what...but I'm sure the same could be said of you!

Might that include Marley and Me? Just watched it for the second time and got it for Christmas. Precious! But sad! Probably not on Lifetime eh?
