Check out this Sponge Bob cake. I used a real sponge, Floam for Patrick and squiggly candles.
Oh, the day of the driver's license.

Awww Happy Birthday to your son.
Funny thing is - we were going to go to Cheeseburger in Paradise today but since it is right near a mall & thought it would be too busy for a Saturday. We wound up going for burgers at Fuddruckers instead.
Oh this makes me nervous... we are drivers ed school shopping. Make it stop!!!

"Why Do They Look So Sweet Napping?"
Because that is when they are QUIET! LOL
What a great way to grow. Good job , Mom. I love how the cake isn't enough so there is a huge bag of peanut m&ms in the waiting ;-)
Thanks for the comments on my blog. I know you are busy but have you received any of my emails? It may be a problem on my end.
Happy Birthday to your son! My son will be 20 in 3 weeks. Sigh. Where, indeed, have the years gone!
He is a fine looking young man! I know you are mighty proud of him!

You know, this is kind of anti-climatic after celebrating Zoe's birthday. LOL!!!
Happy Birthday to your son - and March birthdays are THE BEST. (Mine is tomorrow).
What a cutie Patootie!
What a wonderful birthday post~~they grow up so fast, yet we don't age a bit---LOL!
You've done a great job raising a fine young man. Kudos!
Never heard of Cheeseburger in Paradise. Of course, since Texas is heaven, that would be a little redundant. . . . :-)
Happy birthday to your boy. He looks like quite the man with the facial hair. I don't even want to think about my boy shaving.
aaawww Happy Birthday Jordan. My girls are right behind you. They will be 19 later this week.
So Jordan, do you have a girlfriend? I have one daughter we're trying to find a nice boy for. Ever thought of moving west a couple of states? Yea, ok, my poor daughter would strangle me if she knew I did this....but well, you know, just think about it. LOL
great pictures! happy birthday!
my girl will be 20 in 2 weeks! yikes!
oh, and I miss Ritters!!!!!
What a sweet post! Happy birthday to your boy :-) That cake looks amazing, by the way. I'm a little fixated on desserts I can't eat these days. LOL
So I caught up on your posts for the week. Oh.My.Word. LOVED the 50s video!!! Y'all ROCKED. Don't think I'll be able to wipe the smile off my face today just thinking about it. Thanks for making my day!
Have you noticed, we never get tired of looking at the pictures of our kids ... our own, friends, family, whomever. There is something special about seeing a child become an adult. Thanks so much for sharing your son with us today.
My baby boy is now 31 .. where does the time go ...
Two birthdays in one weekend! Partay!
Happy Birthday to your strapping son! Wow, they do grow fast!
mmmmm, cheeseburger!
Happy Birthday!!!
(it let me comment)
Happy Birthday to Jordan!
I am not ready to leave the SpongeBob phase. Reminds me how times flies.
Isn't hard to believe??? I mean I look back and wonder where all that time went?? My DS 2 was born just a few short months after your boy. I hope he had a fabulous day. The pictures sure indicate he did.
Hugs,
Susan
that cake is a tower, bet it was good.
my DD will be 17 at the end of this month...going by too soon.
Love the cute little puppy in the spongebob photo...my mom had one almost identical.
Happy Birthday, Barnacle Boy!
My son will be 20 in April - we can't be old enough to have kids that old!
WOW what a transformation in a few photos, from baby to man. Happy birthday to your 20 year old.
We were pregnant together back when...my son will turn 20 on the 23rd of March. Yikes...how time flies. I have got to figure out how to use my new scanner/fax/copier so I can scan some old photos for all to see. Congrats and that cake looks yummy! Connie
Wow, that was cute! 20 years old. Time flies doesn't it? My oldest was born in 90...and I didn't realize til I read your post how close she actually is to 20. Gosh! Lovely looking family.
Oh my goodness... how does the time pass so quickly? Happy Birthday to your dear "little" boy!
They do grow up so fast...where does the time go? Happy birthday, Jordan!! And ... does that cake look yummy. The kid has good taste!!
What a fun Birthday. But now I am hungry for a cheeseburger and a piece of cake:}
My oldest recently turned 20 and is in college also. I remember when he drove away with my heart the first day he got his license.
I can't get over how our dogs look alike. Although mine is a brindle poodle she is a bit scruffy looking so people think she's a yorkie.
It'll make you cry just how fast the time goes!
My oldest just turned 24 - Time FLIES! Doesn't it?
Can't believe no one's said anything about your bangs in 1989. So I will.
"Nice. Very nice. I wore mine the exact same way. Nice. Very, very nice."
TOWER Cake: AWESOME!!!
Happy Birthday to your boy! What a handsome guy.
I've never been to Ritter's...back home in WI we have Kopp's Custard, which is so YUM.
What a great looking guy! He was born five years to the day after my daughter.
