It's a little early for a touching tribute to mothas, I know, but I just had to share with you this poignant song to shake you up and make you realize that ... you probably dressed just like these people at one time. Enjoy.
"M is for the moan
and the miserable groan
from the pain that she felt
when I was bo'n"

i have no words. was this a sesame street skit, a snl skit or a for real video?????? unfortunately, it will be stuck in my head for a long time.
hahahaha, i loved that! i probably did dress that way at one time, and what is up with poor sound quality in the 80's, we didnt even notice!
Oh my! Those outfits are just too much. ahahahaha And Mr. T in shorts and knee high socks. The message was good but I couldn't help but laugh most of the way through it. Thanks. Blessings, SusanD
The little boy rubbing his moms back is wearing gloves. That just cracked me up. Cooties, you know.
And I think I may have owned some of those outfits back in the 70's.
The man could accessorize!!! NOT! I'm sure his Mom is proud.
OMG! Where do you find these things?!? NOt sure if I was more distracted by the mom jeans and Farrah hair, or Mr. T's short camo shorts and knee-highs...
YIKES!!!
Things that make you say....hmmmm
What did I just watch?!?
If only my hair looked as good as a the lady at the end with the red headband. *Sigh*
Hysterical. Unfortunately, I saw myself as one of the Pips.
Oh, those clothes were way too familiar! And the moves - those back-up gals were living on the edge, weren't they!
This song eminds me of the other day in the car coming home from school. Apparently "yo mama" jokes are the thing now. Without any preface, my son's friend looked at him and said "Yo mama's so fat" - and then paused (I think he was trying to remember the next part.) So it didn't come out sounding like a joke. Of course, I took umbrage and acted horrified, and he just about crawled under the seat when he realized what he had done!
I'm headed out to buy my MIL's card today. . .and trying to wrap my mind around the fact that I don't need to get one for my mom.
Seen it. Love it.
I pity the fool who doesn't treat his mother right.
I loved it....Happy Mothers Day.....
love the striped socks...my dd had me looking for those last week for a play she's gonna be in...i couldn't find any...do u know Mr. T's number?
If I had to speak my comment instead of typing it....I would not be able to do so...I can hardly breathe right now. I need to steal this for my facebokk page.
Mr. T is the man. I got my Mother Mr. T as a GPS voice. I have always emailed her this video and sent flowers, but this year i went to a site called Navtones and got her the real Mr. T on her GPS.
She is going to love it. Check it out. I think its Navtones or Nav-tones.
Oh my, I am speechless.
Where do you find this stuff????? I mean, seriously, do you already KNOW about it and then do a quick search? Or do you happen upon it at the coincidentally appropriate time? Or do you scour the internets looking for JUST the right way-off-the-wall tidbit that will just blow us all away with its wackiness?? I tell you, "Lidna," you are one mysterious (and quirky) woman! :) As we say in the South, "You are somethin' else."
What happened was: Jorge was listening to KLOVE radio, and they mentioned this. He Googled it and sent it to our kids because we live for this kind of stuff. It's one of our family jewels--loving the humor.
Hahahaha. I'm so sending this to my kids.
Well, I can't say I ever wore camo shorts quite like that, or that amount of gold chainage, but that ruffly blouse on the backup singer looks vaguely familiar.
What in the world is he wearing????
Mr.T definitely gets better with age. :)
Can I submit another funny Mother's Day video? Check out this customizable video, hilarious: http://bit.ly/m0TXa
This was too funny! I have to say I loved the shorts!!! I don't know if I'll be able to get this outta my head now.
I'll be calling my mother and sayin', Happy Motha's Day, in the voice of Mr. T of course. Thanks for sharing this with us. :)
Hilarious! Where do you find this stuff?
Oh, my word! That was unbelievably cheesy, and yet I couldn't pull my eyes away from it, much like watching a trainwreck. And those SHORTS he wore! ;-Þ
