So yesterday, at one of the big shindig open houses I told you about, my friends were discussing a modern day prophet/eschatologist named Perry Stone. I've seen him as I flipped through channels but have never watched him.
Mr. Stone came to Muncie recently, and one of my friends went to see him. She said that he said he sat between a military official and a medical professional who were discussing a test which has allegedly been tried on 2 million people (don't know what country) that includes placing a microchip either in the forehead of the back of the hand, containing all of the subject's medical history. The procedure is apparently the inevitable wave of the future, and it has been dubbed uberveillance.
The reason they haven't gone global with this? They say there is one blood type resistant to this procedure. We asked her if she remembered which one, and she did not.
I believe I know: it must be the "JC" blood type, which I'm hoping I have! No foreheads or hands marked, please, thank you very much.
I admit I don't pay attention to a lot of end-times prophecy, but I don't think I should be in a stupor, either. So have you heard about uberveillance?

You are KIDDING me?!?! I totally jumped right to that conclusion as soon as I read your post. Sure would like to know where they "tested" that. And funny, all the people with JC blood type - well, they got it as a life-saving transfusion :)
I haven't heard of this. Like you, my JC blood type will protect me. No matter what comes- He will come! Amen to that.
scary!
never heard of it, and hope to never see that come to pass! whoa.
Interesting and very scary! I don't think I've heard of this before. Oh the world - it can be a scary place, no?
Scary indeed.
I hadn't heard of that, but recently we had a new church copier installed for which we use the same credit-card-sized key card that also opens the door -- we just pass it over a spot on the copier and it then knows and keeps track of who makes how many copies. During the training session on it the tech guy said he had seen a training video in which somewhere in Ohio a copier was activated with a similar electronic chip implanted in the back of the hand. It seems strange to me to have that in the back of the hand for a copier...but we can see the trend is coming for that kind of application. Scary!
This sounds like some sort of Urban Legend to me. I cannot believe it's true. BUT yes, I do know the prophecy to which you refer, and I'll just carry around my medical folders in a manilla envelope please. ;-)
Seems to me I read something about it in the Bible. . . .
Come quickly, Lord Jesus!
God is coming back sooner than we think...
i wondered how long it would take them to adapt it to humans since they've been doing it for animals for years now...
there were no sixes involved, were there?
I have heard of this, but not the part about it being called uberveillance. I did read Third Millineum and Fourth Millineum- fictional accounts of what the end might look like in our modern society. The books came out before the wide usage of PCs. There was a prediction of some sort in the story about how we all will be linked together somehow, such that we are easily all identified and found by the Anti-Christ. Looks like that's happenin'. Anyway the JC's have the rapture on our side. I'm assuming my fear of heights won't be a problem then.
End time prophesy was huge when I first came to the Lord. I can't say I know a whole lot but that is one detail I do remember. Creepy that it's right there for that thing.
I'm with you on this one. Why push your luck. No thank you for me too. What will they think of next.
No i haven't but now i am going to do a search!!!
Not scary!! Exciting!!! Jesus is coming soon!! Whoo Hooo!
I've never heard of uberveillance but you better belief if anyone tries to stick a chip in my forehead or hand it will be over (in???) my cold, dead body. NO WAY JOSE!!!
Never heard of it. I will stick with my JC blood type as well
I had not heard of this, but I am not surprised in the least. I believe we'll be seeing more such things in the coming days. We need to get ready because Jesus is coming!
I have to say that in my DS more rebellious days I would have gladly had a microchip implanted just so I could keep track of his movements, however I would not want one under my skin. Maybe it could have a limited shelf life and work from the years of 13 until 21 and then deactivate??? Just a thought!!
Blessings

Wow, have not heard of this, but I'm lovin' my JC blood type for sure!!
I like what Christy Rose said, not scary, exciting!!
I have not heard of this, but I did read something not long ago where it talked about microchipping babies when they were born.
All I can say is "good grief"
Argh, I didn't want to believe it but I looked into it and...sure enough. Yipes! Check out Verichipcorp.com....
I'm so glad for Jesus.
Actually I've heard all of this stuff and it went right along with the whole Y2K scare. Fear will make people do some crazy things.
Really wish God would blow the whistle and call us out of the pool.
