You realize you have just lathered your hair with conditioner instead of shampoo.
You need 2 shampoos to get the conditioner out.
You get to the conditioner step, but no, you use SHAMPOO again, for the third time on what used to be your hair and is now straw.
You get to work and scratch your car on a cement post in the parking lot.
You step out of the car into the rain without an umbrella to check the damage to the car and step smack into a deep puddle of water, soaking the bottom of your jeans.
You sit at your desk with a foot heater blasting your wet jeans all morning.
You realize that the razor burn you feel on your calves after the jeans are dry is not razor burn at all but foot heater burn in JUNE instead.
You realize all of this has happened before 10:00 am.
That's when you know you're in for a tough day.

Yeouwch! That's a lot to handle in one day... I mean MORNING!
hope the rest of the day was easier!
Were you following me today? Except it was a grocery store cart that scratched my car!
Oh my. (((hugs))) One moment at a time... soon the job will be done.
Wow. I sure do wonder how the rest of your day went. Maybe you got all the bad stuff out of the way early? Here's hoping...
LOL!!!! And I thought my days were challenging!!!
And no, we are not laughing "AT" you...we're laughing "WITH" you!!!
Thanks for a good way to remind me I'm not the only one that has challenging days!!
Have a blessed one!

hope things are better today
You know, I've become so routine-oriented in my old age (45!) that if I miss a step it's all downhill from there. My husband & I are moving & we're taking our sweet time about it - staying at the apartment a few nights, then the house a few nights. My routine is a mess! It's a wonder I remember to even WASH my hair.
Ouch! That shampoo and conditioner thing hits a little too close to home! And I thought I was the only one! : )
I hear the weather in our area is finally supposed to start to warm up by tomorrow, which means you should have it there by the weekend. Good news with that is, hopefully no more heater burns (trying to see the positive here LOL).
Here's hoping today is going better.
At least it's Friday...oh, wait a minute...never mind.
Good thing it's such a slow week at work for you, too! LOL
I'm sorry you had such a rough day, but what would you have to blog about if life were uneventful?!
I'd have gone home, crawled into the bed to hide for the remainder of the day. It's safer there, ya know?
Hope today is going better for you!
Blessings!
Dawn
Just breath in and out ...
It is almost Fryday ...

Sorry your day got off to a bad start, hope the rest of the day is good.
I hope things have gotten better. Yesterday was like that for me and today I am feeling like a million bucks. Of course I may be just comparing today with yesterday and maybe today is just so so. I just read Stacy's comment as I was writing this and started to shout yoo hoo but then I saw the never mind part. :(
LOL I have so done that with the shampoo/conditioner! I hope you are having a good day and not a bad one! :)
My daughter's favorite joke at the moment is, "wouldn't it be funny if shampoo was spaghetti sauce and spaghetti sauce was shampoo?" So... at least you didn't use spaghetti sauce. Heh.
Oh, poor you! I do the shampoo thing a lot... probably way more than I should mention in public!
Me too on the shampoo part. Trying hard not to invite scratches to my new car- again. Someone drug a pop can across it after I owned it one week.
Hope your weekend will make it up to you. Perhaps eat more chocolate tomorrow.

Okay, I'm feeling guilty for laughing so hard! But, if it helps, it's mostly because I've done the conditioner as shampoo thing more than once.
You should've just went home to Zoe!
