Not everyone made it to the final night, but here is a good sampling of the group.
Aaron really likes watermelon. I mean really likes watermelon.
The requisite crazy group picture, apropos for Crazy Love book study.
I can honestly say I have a soft spot for each and every one of these kids. I'll miss them, but I have now committed to a once-a-week house group just like this for the duration of the school year beginning September 14. What a blessing!

Looks like such a fun groups of kiddos. I can see why you will miss them. Happy WW!
Awww, it makes me smile to come here and occasionally see that beautiful young lady in your pics! ;) They don't come too much sweeter than Megan. :) I'll tell you a little secret...she thinks you're GREAT! ;) Looks like SO much fun.
I miss youth small group, but I'm past that stage. I might get there again when my youngest is older, but for now, I'll entertain the fun of becoming a surrogate Gramma to all the children of the youth who used to be in my group, are now married and have children! HAHA!
Dude! I'm old! :)
Blessings!
Kim
Thank you so much for opening up your home for us! I will miss coming over every week!
The young are such a blessing and teach us so many things about life, about ourselves, and about God. And they help keep us young. :) Blessings, SusanD
I love it when people are so connected with youth. It's just not a gift that I have, so I pray like crazy for my kids when they are in those stages. I pray that God will continue to give them people who are truly CALLED to work with that age level AND that they are able to connect. Sounds to me like he's using you in just this way.
Hugs,
Susan
You are a much braver woman than me! (or is it "I", or "I am"?)
Anyway... I love the little ones, the big ones intimidate me!
Blessings on this fun group!
Such fun! My sweetest memories from high school are the homes that regularly had the youth group over. Not everyone has that gift. Now as a mom, I so appreciate the ones that open their homes to my kids.
And a fun time was had by all - - -
That isn't a real place. It can't be, no one could pronounce it. Kaxzakdrristan, see.
I see we got little Zoe in the photos. Imagine that. haha
Peace out!!
We miss having kids around. Our house was always Grand Central Station. With kids of our own, the hubby being a youth pastor, and then when he stopped being the youth pastor the one they hired to be the youth pastor moved in with us...so nothing changed :-) Still had kids wandering in and out, checking the fridge to see if there was anything yummy to eat, never even knocking before they came in... Yep, I seriously miss all of that!
By the way, you were in Kosc. Co. last weekend :-) You should visit Winona Lake some time! They've turned the tiny downtown into the cutest shopping area with artist galleries, restaurants and the Billy Sunday Museum. Plus you can walk or drive around the "island". Would be a really fun day trip :-) While you're there, stop in and eat at Cerulean's and my daughter might be your server! She's a student at Grace and works part-time at the restaurant.
an energetic group 4 sure...
congrats on finishing your summer study
we'll be starting our new groups on aug 9...eager to see who all will be involved
pray for us friday night, we'll be doing an all-night lock-in at one of our local 'fun park'...we'll be 'go carting, ddr'g, puttputting, and videogaming ALL NIGHT LONG :)
