I'm a person who appreciates attention to detail and exactness. Especially when it applies to the person who is writing my paycheck. (Hi, Ang!)
But this morning, it is just too much for the mind to bear: the thermometer perched on my windowsill like a bedraggled, puffed up little bird is screeching: "Zero point nine degrees, 0.9*, 0.9* ...."
Go away, little bird. Before I smack you with a badminton racket.

the worst for me was when we lived in ND and the day Jared was born the thermometer read -92 BELOW zero....how did I survive that?!!

The digital age is just too weird sometimes. My kids always correct me if I say "it's 7:15 and it's really 7:16!!

Oh my gosh! It's 20 here... (feels like 5) ... and I'm sitting in my kitchen with a sweatshirt over my jammies... and I'm thinking about gloves!

Yikes oh Mikes and I thought it was cold here in SW Florida at 48 degress. Now give me a little slack in the fact that we wear shorts and short sleeves all the time and 48 is really cold when you don't have a sweater.

It's 9 here now - I think once it gets below 15 it's all the same - too cold!
I'm not a fan of the cold weather either....maybe we can get a lively game of badminton going. Do you have another racket to spare?

While I do prefer cold weather to the hot, humid, headin'-for-100degrees, sweatin' kind of weather, I have to admit that it IS a tad bit nippy outside today!! 9 degrees and I'm not sure what the windchill is BUT it is still REEEEALLY cold even with the sun shining!!! Stay warm, Linda!!! I am fully dressed and have a sweater on!!! AND we have a woodburner!!! :-)
Temps right now is about -1 here at 1:30pm. I think it was about -10 this morning. Wait for it...it is coming your way :}

I had a warm up here today. It was only -5 this morning, yeasterday it was -10. A regular heat wave.
Yikes.
The thought of that really makes me want to cry. I will admit, I am a baby when it comes to cold..it shows to be 69 inside my house right now and I'm umm freezing so the thought of the 15 degrees it's suppose to get this week here makes me physically cringe let alone thinking about negative degree weather!!
