Mostly my kids dont need me anymore. But sometimes, like when my 21 yr old son squirts mustard on his shirt at lunch, I jump into Mom Mode circa 1994, rip the shirt off and vanquish the yellow monster in the mud sink while everyone else finishes the meal. I still got it.

Kind of like riding a bicycle, no? :D
A good mom never loses it -- but sometimes the 21 year old sons try to dodge and weave to escape it!
Good for your son that he put up with it and that you were able to save his shirt!
Have a great week!
You gotta just love those Mom Moments. I know I do. I love it when they still need me. Kat called yesterday and needed a trivia answer...I had it. She was delighted. I love your new photo banner. You are so gorgeous.
What a woman!
If it's any indication by what my Mom sometimes does and says to me , I don't think we will ever lose that Mom Mode. LOL.
Hugs my friend, I sure know that feeling, I too have 5 grown children, most do not need me most of the time, but, every once in a while I am needed, and ready willing and able, blessings, Barbara
I love that. I have a grandson that age. He doesn't allow Mom modes. I wish he did. His mom is a high school English teacher. Her daughter who is getting her RN degree is always in the mom mode. She still cuddles on the couch with her during ball games and movies and is still very dependent on her.
A mother's work is never done. lol
no doubt about it. You got skills!
Ha ha ha! That is hilarious. Was anyone else at the dinner table???
