Good News For Our Family

This somber child just got engaged to be married Saturday afternoon. Therefore, she is no longer somber. She is, in fact, in proposed-to, engaged bliss.

From a mother's perspective, how did this happen? I mean, shouldn't she be picking up her toys or going to dance class or getting her braces checked or at least just asking for the car keys?

Congratulations, Katie and Shad!

Time for me to start shopping for the perfect "Frother of the Bride" dress (Frumpy Mother of the Bride)!

Ann Taylor Loft has beautiful special occasion dresses. I have picked out my MOB dress a few times already and my girl is not even dating anyone at the moment!

Congratulations and happy dress shopping!! (I picked an elegant cocktail length dress for my own MOBD because the long ones made me look frumpy.)

If I had a body like yours, I would not be wearing those longs sleeved hanging dress, but something more shapely with less material. Just saying!

Congrats to your sweet daughter. However, your first sentence leads me to believe she is getting married Saturday afternoon. I hope this isn't the case, or you will never find a dress in time. haha.
