OK, So There's No Number 4. I Got Lazy & You Got a Break.

Dear Alert Readers:

Thank you for all the heads-up I received about neglecting the poor #4. I have no idea what happened to him. Maybe he felt too good to be part of my Random list. Maybe he was a question about national security or the public education system or the meaning of life. And so he just disappeared before I noticed to be disassociated from all the riff-raff questions about high school pictures.

We'll just soldier on without him.

1. Is there a word which you initially mispronounced? Were the circumstances in which you made the faux pas embarrassing? By the way, that's not "foax pass." (I know you know that. Just jokin' with ya.)

2. How do you feel about the use of texting shortcuts and trends? (ex: "I've got ur notes. Get them 2 u 2morow.")

3. Tell me about your high school senior picture. Please feel free to post.

5. Share a high school or college homecoming memory.

6. Linda at Mocha with Linda wants to know: "Do you prefer sunrises or sunsets?"

7. Lea at Cici's Corner asks, "What is something you have not done that you desire to do?"

8. Carol at Wanderings of an Elusive Mind ponders, "If you could come back [in another life] as an animal, which would it be?"

9. Joyce from The Other Side of the Pond is curious: "Where were you 10 years ago?" Please feel free to elaborate more than just your physical location.

10. When you are proven to be correct in any contentious discussion, do you gloat?

11. What is your favorite food which includes the ingredient "caramel?"

12. From my 17 year-old daughter to you: "If you could be part of any fictional family, which family would you choose and why?" (She's so cute. And clever.)

Gratuitous pic of the author of #12:

Well, I guess it's safe to say that I'll never be a detective...as much attention I paid to the fact that #4 was missing.

Think I'll stick with teaching English. It's apparent that numbers aren't my thing either!

Thanks for hosting! You're da bomb! (And yes, that was really good English, eh?)

So was the no # 4 on purpose, or a faux pas?

This is how observant I am: I didn't even notice that #4 was missing!

Technical difficulties this week. I could not get anything to do what I wanted it to....and the computer I was on....is virtually clean of pictures. Bland Random dozen....loved the questions....have a great day!

I didn't even notice #4 was missing -- so much for my level of alertness!

You have a lovely daughter.

Ok, so this week was the totally random eleven. Doesn't quite have the ring that random dozen has, does it? LOL

Can't wait to read everyone else's answers. ;-)

Wow...I didn't even miss #4! :-0 LOL Oh, Linda, your daughter is so beautiful! Tell her thank you for the question this week! :-)

Your daughter is lovely. Don't you think our kids will look back with less regret at their hair and clothing (unless they are of the baggy pant variety kid) than we do?

My girls and their friends always look so put together and stylish. They all work out or are into sports or dance or gyms or something. They drink a lot of water. They wear sunscreen. Just thinking they're going to age a little better. Not that our generation isn't aging well but you know what I mean.

I actually managed to get my post done before evening. But I will come back in the evening to read the others.

Finally! Better late than never, right? :)

I did it audio-style again...please take a few minutes to listen.

OK... I obviously need more coffee (or sleep!) because I didn't even notice #4 was not there!

Blessings!
