Status Update

Last night: On the deck watching the sun set and clouds drift. Missing Diane.

Feeling a little sluggish. I'll be back on here soon. (Not my photo. Photo stolen.)

Beautiful sunset, whoever took the picture. Looking forward to your "sunrise" when you are feeling better.

Woohoo! There is a wee bit of breth in the old blog! I was just sitting here thinking about you.

I know this is going to be a hard few months as the grief from Diane's homegoing is still tender.

I can so relate. I'm sorry that you, too, are having to miss your friend. It's so hard being the one left behind, isn't it? Not a day goes by that I don't think of my friend, Sue, and wish I could call her. There is just so much I want to talk to her about. Sending big (((HUGS))) your way.

Grieving is a process. you can not hurry it. You just need to do whatever it is that makes you feel better when you need to feel better.

Praying the emptiness left behind will soon be filled with the wonderful memories you shared with her.

Sending virtual hugs your way.

I have come back to visit you now that I have a moment and see that my comment about your award is highly inappropriate on this post. I'm so sorry for not reading the post before I commented. My heart goes out to you in your pain and grief as the hole that Diane has left behind grows.

Oh Shawna, that is not a problem at all. I didn't think a thing about it except that it was nice of you. Don't worry!
